U Thant Kyaw, Chairman of Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies participated in the 1st ASEAN-Korea Think Tank Dialogue (AKTD) which was held in Lotte Hotel, Jeju, the Republic of Korea on 14 May 2025. The AKTD was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of the Korea, and the heads of leading Think Tanks from ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea attended the dialogue.
