Chairman and members of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) received the election observer delegation of Belarus led by Mr. Alexei BASHAN, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus in the morning of 25 December 2025 (Thursday) at the MISIS office in Yangon.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on information on forthcoming election, electoral processes, and cooperation between the future parliaments of Myanmar and its counterpart of Belarus. The visit contributed to strengthening mutual understanding and fostering constructive engagement between MISIS and relevant institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
