The Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) has received an official certificate from Xinhua News Agency, recognizing MISIS as a Certified Partner under the Global South Media and Think Tank Joint Communication Partnership, following the signing of a Letter of Intent for Cooperation on 19 June 2025.
