H.E. Mr. Scot Marciel, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar held a talks at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (Myanmar ISIS) on 14 February 2017 with the title "The State of U.S. - Myanmar Relation".

The State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi met with some members of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies at the meeting room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw on 6-1-2017. The State Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Tin and Officials from the Ministry were also present on the occasion.
Mr. Sumith Nakandala, Secretary General of BIMSTEC called on Chairman of Myanmar ISIS today this morning and exchanged views with Myanmar ISIS members on MISIS role in BIMSTEC Network of Think Tank. He also gave an overview of BIMSTEC's activities at present. This is the first time MISIS had an interaction with BIMSTEC Secretary General.
Discussion on the current situation in the Middle East and Israel as well as the current developments in Myanmar under the NLD government with the Israeli delegation led by Ambassador Mark Sofer and Ambassador Gil Haskel at Myanmar ISIS on the 14th of July.
