The Chairman and members of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) received an election observer delegation from the Republic of Belarus, led by Mrs. Volha CHAMADANOVA, Chairperson of the Belarusian Party (Balaya Rus), in the evening of 22 January 2026 (Thursday) at the MISIS Office in Yangon.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters such as both countries’ electoral systems, processes and related experiences. The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, contributing to further understanding between Myanmar and the Republic of Belarus.
