The Fifteenth Five – Year Plan: New Opportunities of Cooperation between Myanmar and China in Next Five Years
The Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) and the China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) jointly organized a seminar title “The Fifteenth Five -Year Plan: New Opportunities of Cooperation between Myanmar and China in Next Five Years” on 26 November 2025 at the MISIS Building in Yangon.
The seminar was attended by the Chairman and members of MISIS, Ms. Cao Jing, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Yangon, Director Mr. Huang Guodong and Project Coordinator Mr. Zhang Yue of the Myanmar Office of the China Foundation for Peace and Development as well as invited scholars and experts.
During the seminar, U Thant Kyaw, Chairman of MISIS and Ms. Cao Jing, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of China delivered welcome remarks. Afterwards, presentations were made on the 15th Five- Year Plan, its potential impact on global and Myanmar economies as well as new opportunities for cooperation.
